Addiction impacts everyone!!!
Governor Blunt is proposing $10 million in CUTS to the Missouri's
Mental Health Budget.

What impact would these drastic cuts have on Columbia and Boone
County?

1) Most state funded drug and alcohol treatment services will be
eliminated.
2) Crime will increase, and without treatment as an option, demand for
prison space will increase.
3) Utilization of emergency rooms and unpaid medical care will
increase.
4) Homelessness will increase.

Please write Governor Blunt, State Representatives and State
Senators and encourage them not to make these cuts.
